This is one of the many field trips offered for memebers each year. This trip was to the Flintstone Quarry in Western Maryland. Some of the specimans that were found at this dig were Celestite, Calcite, Fluorite, Strontianite, and someone even found a small vein of Sulfur crystals.

These photos show some of the equipment that's available for our members to use. For a very small shop fee once a year you have the use of all of the equipment during open shop days. This is a great deal for our members!
