Introduction to PMC (Precious Metal Clay)
with Donna Madej

Precious metal clay can be shaped by hand or by using molds. The clay is made from microscopic particles
of metal, such as silver, gold, bronze or copper with an organic binder and water.

Saturday & Sunday, June 16-17, 9am-3pm

Students will learn to work with silver PMC to make at least three items that are molded, impressed, and hollow formed. These could include a pendant, earrings, or a set, as well as a hollow formed lentil bead. All work will be fired in a kiln, sanded, and finished with a patina, if desired.

Kit will be enough for a minimum of 3 pieces of silver jewelry.
