Decorative and Functional Clasps and Toggles Instructor: Donna Madej Date: May, 26, 2018 9:00am to 5:00 pm Experience level: No experience required Students will learn to make their own handcrafted clasps and toggles in many decorative styles. These variations are suitable for chainmail, beaded or fused chains and necklaces. They also will work well on bracelets. Students will complete a minimum of 5 styles of closures in silver ready to use on projects of their own. All tools will be provided, but students may also bring their own tools, hammers for texturing and magnification (optivisors or strong reading glasses) Material fee of $58.00 includes: 3”x2” sterling silver 20 gauge sheet, sterling silver ½ hard wire 2 feet each, 20, 18, 14 gauge, saw blades, use of solder and patina
