Organic and Cuttlebone Casting

Would you like to learn how to melt silver and then cast organic shapes, using traditional tools?  Do you have scrap silver that you’d like to use in a creative way? In this one day class, students will cast with organic materials to create abstract designs, using the techniques of broom casting, cuttlebone, beans and rice, water, etc.


Class fee: $5 for cuttlebone, students bring their own scrap silver or purchase as needed in class. (usable silver: .999 fine silver, sterling silver and PMC scrap, at market cost)
